About us.
Andonis was born in Skopelos Island and grew up there until he finished school. In trying to decide what course of life to follow and what studies to pursue next, he took a road trip to Europe, ending up in the U.K. This was a major "stepping stone" for his later life, as he lived there for the next 5 years and met some interesting people. He worked and studied at the same time in Oxford Brookes University.
He was always a sociable person and an outgoing personality, and having already worked for the Tourism Industry before, he decided to enrol in the "Hotel & Catering Management" course. This opened up a world of opportunities for him since he enjoyed meeting people from different backgrounds and cultures and loved travelling.
He was chosen twice (during his studies and soon after his graduation) by multi-international Hotel chains to work in the United States. He lived there for 3 yrs where he completed his 1yr work experience and his post graduation "Masters on the Job" for another 2 years.
Back in Greece, he completed his National Service (1yr in the Greek Navy), and immediately started work in another International Hotel chain in Athens, the "Athens 2004" Olympic Games in the "Torch Relay" Dept. (Hotel related work) and an independently owned hotel which was part of "The Leading Hotels of the World" and "Design Hotels of the World".
The latter was a "milestone" of his life since it was at that point of his life where he decided that after a decade of being away he needed to move back to Skopelos in order to build the villas. Karya area in Skopelos was the the ideal location where the cottages could be build, in order for the guests to see the potential of Skopelos Country at its very best and discover the "hidden" side of the island (where most visitors do not usually discover). His family will also be there to help make your holiday most memorable and enjoyable.
